Lolly wins at the Caterer's 2017 Product Excellence Awards

Lolly, the EPoS and payment solution specialist, is proud to announce its win in The Caterer's 2017 Product Excellence Awards. The company took first place in the Technology: Software category for its LollyPoS solution, the first Windows-based downloadable EPoS, incorporating its own integrated payment processing capability. Judges praised it for its 'disruptive approach to the whole process of payment', calling it 'a neat innovative technology solution'.Entries were judged on their innovation, convenience and money saving credentials. Designed to make coffee shops, food to go specialists etc. more efficient and profitable, Lolly EPoS takes the focus (and cost) away from hardware - enabling merchants to download the PoS software, and access real-time analytics and reporting on either a Windows based laptop, tablet or a traditional hardware till.Commenting on the win, Peter Moore, CEO of Lolly, said: "We are delighted to have won this prestigious award, against some stiff competition. "Technology is at the heart of what we do, and it is excellent to have been recognised for our hard work and achievement in launching this product to market. We are dedicated to supporting this sector, and its growth and this award adds further credibility to the work that we do."Commenting on the awards, Lisa Jenkins, products and suppliers’ editor of The Caterer, and awards host said: “It’s an honour to present these awards to such deserving suppliers and manufacturers. They don’t always get the attention or credit they deserve – and it’s an absolute pleasure to be part of the passion, commitment and drive in this sector."-Ends- Notes to editorsAbout Lolly Lolly is a Point of Sale (PoS) specialist serving small businesses across the UK in the hospitality industry; from coffee shops, pubs and night clubs, to mobile catering, pop ups and corporate caterers.
