Each month we take a closer look at one of Lolly's fantastic team members, and find out more about how they help drive Lolly's success. This month the spotlight is on Business Development Manager Glen Wisbey.
How long have you been with Lolly?
I have worked at Lolly for four years.
What does your job entail? What are the highlights?
My main role is to create all marketing material – for both print and digital content. This can range from a spec sheet for our hardware, to presentations, digital signage content, videos and images for demos and customers, to the creation of videos for our range of equipment. I also look after one of our large corporate caterer relationships, and from time to time, I am brought in to assist with installs.
Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today?
I wouldn’t say that anyone in particular has inspired me, but I have always been interested in various aspects of technology. I have a background in engineering and tech support and have over the past 30 years worked in graphic design as well. I have previously worked for design studios with clients including Premier League football clubs.
What are you most proud of achieving during your time at Lolly so far?
Being part of the team that has driven Lolly forward, especially during the pandemic when companies were struggling, we won some major blue-chip clients during this time.
Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?
This is a great question… I would really like to have built the design side at Lolly into a full service that we can offer to our clients, from self-serve to digital signage and everything in between.
What are your outside interests and hobbies?
Outside of work, and my family life with Louise and our daughter Amelia, I also have a passion for music both listening and composition. I have been in several bands and over the years have had a number of singles and albums released.
