At Lolly we believe that doing business goes beyond profit. Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reflects our dedication to creating a positive impact on the environment, society, and the communities we serve.
We encourage our customers to join us in driving meaningful change and building a better future together.
We are proud to partner with Braintree Area Foodbank to help fight hunger and support vulnerable members of our local community. Through this collaboration we provide donations and volunteer support to ensure that those in need have access to nutritious food. Together with Braintree Area Foodbank, we are committed to making a meaningful difference and strengthening the well-being of our community.
It’s important to us that our suppliers and clients are in alliance of our ethical standards. The Ethical Trading Initiative promotes respect for workers' rights throughout supply chains. It sets standards for fair wages, safe working conditions, and ethical practices. We operate on the ETI base code as it helps to ensure our supply chain is ethical, builds trust with our customers, and enhances our social responsibility.
Following on from our successful ISO 14001 certification, we have taken steps to become carbon neutral through PAS 2060 accreditation. In 2024 we commissioned an independent report to calculate our footprint and explore opportunities to strengthen our sustainability and CSR initiatives. We have set up a Sustainability Committee dedicated to taking further actions to reduce our Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions over the next 12 months.
We have reduced our own operational electricity consumption through installing LED lighting and implementing switch-off policies and have plans for further reductions. We have installed EV charging at the office. Lolly have always designed products to take into account energy reductions and are currently working to enhance performance further and constantly review opportunities to innovate and lead by example.
At Lolly, fostering future talent is at the heart of our mission. Since 2020, we’ve employed five apprentices and one intern in diverse roles ranging from finance to web development, all of whom have made a meaningful impact on our business. Many have transitioned into full-time positions, underscoring our commitment to long-term career development. In addition, we actively collaborate with universities nationwide, delivering technology talks to inspire and equip the next generation of professionals with the skills and insights they need to thrive.
