Lolly Looks Set To Expand

– Point of Sale software house optimistic for future growth, as it makes  series of new appointments –

Lolly, the Point of Sale (PoS) software house, has made five new appointments across its sales and technical divisions. The company, which supports small businesses throughout the UK in the hospitality industry, including coffee shops, pubs and corporate caterers remains confident for real growth, in spite of Brexit.Peter Moore, CEO of Lolly, said: “Not a day goes by that we don’t read about small or start up businesses, concerned about the impact that Brexit will have on them, and it’s not uncommon to hear about ones hoping to relocate[1].

“Conversely, we’re seeing real interest in our products and offering – designed to support small hospitality providers across the UK – helping to improve their productivity, and – ultimately – the bottom line of their business.”

The appointments include: Danny Lawrence, who has joined as a business development manager focusing on building the corporate catering market, with a view to doubling the company’s efforts in that sector. Danny Lawrence commented: “I am excited to be joining Lolly. The company has created point of sale package that supports a multitude of different size businesses, helping them to compete on a level playing field and to have real competitive advantage.

The Lolly platform is a stable one, with real potential for growth over the coming years.” Adam Lane and Mia Patel have also joined as business development managers, focussing on building the customer base in the hospitality hotspots of London and the South West of England.Agnes Bannerman has come on board to support the sales division in the Shoreditch based head office. Pete Melbourne has joined as a senior developer working on a new web-based self service delivery system for customers.

Tim Allen, sales director, added: “We’d like to welcome our new members of staff during this critical growth phase. These appointments are designed to underpin the planned UK expansion – and our message around being ‘the single most important tool for any small business in the hospitality industry’.

“In particular, we’re seeing real traction in the coffee shop sector. The Allegra Group predicts the total UK coffee shop market will exceed 30,000 outlets and £15 billion turnover by 2025.

These are exciting times to be part of Lolly.”[2]
